4. Load Prefs/Palette and change the last four colours to
255,212,203 122,96,72 210,210,210 229,93,93
and save it. After re-boot everything should work fine."
There you have it all the instructions you need to make your MWB2.0 look really @{" Cool " SYSTEM "TIGuide/SOUND TIGuide/Cool1.snd q"} too!

@{b}Colour & Pointer@{ub}
As I have discussed the 16 MWB palette in the @{" Icons " LINK "ico"} section you'll have to look it up
yourself. ;-)
This pointer is my creation.
After seeing the multitude of arrows and other weird and wonderful pointers out there I
thought it was time to develop my own pointer. It is a picture of a cartoon-like hand
with an out-stretched index finger for the pointer. The wait picture is like the original
Zzz cloud. I think they look much better than arrows and give my @{" AMIGA " SYSTEM "TIGuide/Sound TIGuide/Yeah.snd q"} (and maybe yours too)
an individual touch that only owners of @{" INTEL Based Machines " SYSTEM "TIGuide/Sound TIGuide/DoesNot.snd q"} can only drool over - Ha Ha.
@{fg shine}There is one small problem which I don't quite understand :-/. When you click on the pointer
icon the hand looks okay but the Zzz cloud has part of its side missing. To overcome this I
suggest that you use Iconian or IconEdit and load the def_BUSYdisk icon and copy the Zzz cloud
from it. Save it as an image and import it to the Pointer prefs program as the BUSY image.
Sorry for any inconvenience. If someone can suggest a way around this problem please let @{" ME " LINK "Contact"}
know.@{fg text}
I have also given this pointer and wait picture to Antonio Santos, the author of Sleeping
Pointers, and he will try to animate the cloud and possibly the hand too. I can't wait for
that one :-). If your interested in high resolution animated pointers check his program out
on the Aminet in util/cdity SleepingPointers.lha. A new larger release is due soon. It will
be called MagicPointer!

@{B}16 Colour Icons@{UB}
Here is a collection of 16 colour icons that I have designed or modified from original
pictures using Picticon and Iconian.
These icons were made for my workbench environment to make it more colourful and to replace
the boring icons that came with the original programs. They are probably no use to anyone
but me but I thought you might want to see them anyway. :-)
Icons include those for;
DistantSuns
SimAnt
SimEarth

Here is a picture suitable as boot-pic with a program such as BootScreen or
similar. It is in the PAL format.
This picture was converted from its GIF original which can found in the wustl archives
in the multimedia section. I think it is more interesting to display a picture which is
aesthetically pleasing rather than something which tells the owner what chip set he/she is
working with (they should know this anyway!).
@{" Wolf " SYSTEM "Multiview SCREEN BootPic/Wolf.iff"} - The face of the wild.
@{fg shine}I have also included a short program that I found with another package on the aminet. It stops
that annoying jumping of the bootpic as the prefs are loaded into the system. This program
reads the overscan-prefs and uses this information to display the bootpic. What you get is no
jumping of the bootpic. It's called FixJump, by AlienDesign, and is found in the C drawer.

@NODE "fix" "FixJump"
@{B}FixJump@{UB}
FixJump will stop your boot-pic from jumping during HD bootup. See @{" Boot-Pics " LINK "boot"} for more info.
FixJump is a small program which should be copied into your C Drawer and the following line
added to your Startup-Sequence using ED or some other ASCII editor. This line should come
before your boot-pic program but after the SETPATCH command.
In my startup-sequence it looks like this;
C:SetPatch QUIET
run >NIL: PatchPointer
C:FixJump
;BootScreen
1994 by Joseph Luk
BootScreen
Now when you boot up the boot picture will remain steady.
